My approach to making memories for your family
am a Jackson native who after fourteen years of living out of town and out of state, moved back in 2018 because of family. We planted our roots on the family farm and I got busy rebuilding Knowlan Photography and creating a life for our children that looks very similar to my own childhood: grandparents and cousins just around the corner and a friendly, familiar face everywhere you go. Five years later, I am still loving every minute of the life we've made here and the passion I've been fortunate enough to turn into a career. I am proud to be a Southeast Missouri business owner.

Family is the heart and soul of what I do. I picked up a camera for the first time after becoming a mom, family brought us "home," and family is the at the center of everything I shoot. Born and raised here, I know where to find those gem locations and I'm not afraid of trekking through a field of high grass or corn or wheat to get the perfect shot. But more importantly, I know how to create beautiful memories for your family through photos that celebrate the incredible journey you are on.
